The Boss PN-2 was a dual tremolo/stereo pan pedal with a range of settings used to create throbbing stereo and Leslie style effects. The PN-2 was a bizarre business move from Boss. They had designed and released one of the most useful and versatile tremolo pedals seen at the time and decided to discontinue it to the far inferior TR-2 in 1996. The pedal was only manufactured for a year and there's estimated to be less than 20,000 of them.
The PN-2 features a Rate knob (and pulsating LED) to control the speed of the tremolo/pan, Depth knob to control the intensity of the wave and a 4 way Mode toggle to switch between square and sawtooth wave tremolo and pan options. The pedal also features stereo input and output jacks. Produced from March 1990 until December 1990. Externally it's in unused condition showing virtually no signs of wear. Seems to have been stored for the last 20+ years in the original box (includes the paperwork). Was stored with a battery that corroded in the compartment as pictured, it's been cleaned out and due to the clever design of Boss pedals it's kept the circuitry completely unaffected.
